“Agapanthus in the Breeze”

This graceful watercolour captures an agapanthus flower in a quiet moment of unfolding, with slender violet and indigo buds extending naturally from the central stem against a soft, atmospheric wash of blue and lavender. The delicate variation in colour and the gentle movement of the individual buds create a sense of lightness, as though the flower is swaying softly in a summer breeze. The generous white space surrounding the bloom gives the artwork a calm, contemporary elegance, allowing the intricate form of the agapanthus to take centre stage. “Agapanthus in the Breeze” celebrates the understated beauty of nature, capturing a moment of growth, movement and quiet serenity.
