“A Taste of Summer”

This fresh and vibrant watercolour celebrates the simple beauty of blueberries at their ripest, capturing their rich blue and violet tones alongside bright green leaves and delicate white blossoms. The carefully layered berries, from plump fruit still clustered on the branch to the single berry resting apart, create a natural sense of abundance, freshness and movement. Soft washes and subtle variations in colour give the fruit an almost tangible quality, while the gentle white background allows the rich blues and greens to take centre stage. “A Taste of Summer” is a joyful celebration of nature’s small treasures and the simple pleasures found in the colours, flavours and beauty of the season.
